A Cavapoo puppy is a crossbreed that is created by breeding a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a Mini Poodle. We at Adora have two varieties. F1 Cavapoo puppies are 50/50 first-generation breeds between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a Mini Poodle. F1b Cavapoo puppies are a second-generation cross between an F1 Cavapoo and a Mini Poodle.
Are Cavapoos Hypoallergenic?
Cavapoos are generally considered to be a hypoallergenic breed. However, it’s important to note that no breed of dog is entirely hypoallergenic, and even Cavapoos may still cause some allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. What Temperament do Cavapoo puppies have?
We have specifically chosen Cavapoos to breed for their well know temperament and traits that will only be enhanced by our pre-training program. Cavapoos are known for being intelligent, social, and affectionate dogs. They are often good with children and other pets and are suitable for apartment living as well as for families with a yard. Cavapoos tend to have a moderate energy level and do well with moderate exercise, such as daily walks or play sessions. Cavapoos also do well as emotional support animals and therapy.
Are Cavapoos good pets for families with kids?
Cavapoos are extremely friendly and adaptable dogs that get on well with young children and other pets. They will be very happy in almost any home environment, providing their food, exercise and attention needs are met.
Cavapoo Grooming and Care Best Practices
A Cavapoos coat can vary quite a lot from dog to dog. Some have straight, wavy coats that they will have inherited from the Cavalier King Charles side of their lineage. Cavapoos with this coat type will be more prone to shedding than those with wiry, curly hair. Generally speaking, Cavapoos will shed less than the average dog. Cavapoos need to be groomed regularly to prevent knots and tangles. A daily brush is a great way to ensure their skin and coat stay in tip-top condition and provide an opportunity to bond with your dog.
